Help & FAQ
The most common sign-in and missing-data problems — and how to fix them fast.
How much does FitAid cost?
FitAid is a paid app with a FitAid Pro subscription that unlocks every feature, including the AI coach. You always see the current price and any trial period right in the app before you confirm — they vary by country and platform.
Do I have to weigh food or count calories?
No — that's the whole point of FitAid. Instead of weighing and manual logging, you just snap a photo of your food, describe it in words, dictate it, or scan the label, and the AI estimates the calories and nutrients for you.
You can adjust any estimate whenever you like, but for the vast majority of meals you never have to think about the numbers.
How accurate is the photo food recognition?
The AI identifies the food and estimates the portion and nutrients. For everyday meals the estimate is very good for daily tracking; for unusual or heavily mixed dishes it's an educated guess.
You can always edit the result — the portion and the individual items — so the app adapts to the way you eat.
How does the AI coach work?
The AI coach watches how you eat over the week and once a week gives you an easy-to-read summary: what went well and what to focus on next week. No unreadable charts — just clear, practical advice.
The goal is simple: to guide you step by step toward your goal instead of drowning you in numbers.
Which languages does FitAid support?
The app and the website are available in Czech, English, German, Polish and Slovak. The language is set from your device on first launch and you can switch it any time.
Is my data safe?
Yes. Your data is used so FitAid can coach you, and we handle it in line with GDPR. You can find the details in our Privacy Policy.
You can delete your account and all its data at any time right in the Account section.
Can I cancel the subscription any time?
Yes. You manage your FitAid Pro subscription through your App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android) account and can cancel it at any time — Pro then stays active until the end of the paid period.
I don't see my meals and data on the web, but I see them in the app
Almost always this means you're signed in on the web with a different account than in the mobile app. The web and the app must use the SAME account and the SAME sign-in method.
Sign out (top right → Sign out) and sign in again using the same method you use in the app: Apple, Google, or email and password.
Note: 'Sign in with Apple' and 'Sign in with Google' are two different accounts, even if they show the same email. Pick the button you use on your phone.
I use 'Sign in with Apple'. What should I watch out for?
If you chose 'Hide My Email' when signing in with Apple, Apple creates a relay address like xxxx@privaterelay.appleid.com. That's normal and fine.
On the web you then also have to tap 'Continue with Apple' and use the same Apple ID as on your phone. If you use Google or email/password instead, you'll create a second, empty account that won't show your app data.
How do I know which sign-in method I used?
Open the Account section. If your email ends in @privaterelay.appleid.com, you sign in with Apple. Otherwise you most likely use Google or email and password with your normal address.
I accepted my coach's invite, but the coach can't see my meals
Your coach only sees data from the account you accepted the invite with. If you accepted with one account but log meals in the app with another, they'll see nothing.
Sign in with the same account and method as in the app and accept the invite again. If that doesn't work, email us at info@macrolabs.cz and we'll link the account manually.
